Rujewa Integrated Efforts to Fight Poverty (RIEFP) is a Non-Governmental, not-for-profit making Organization that was founded in 2010. It was officially registered on 14TH November 2011 under the NGOs Act, No. 24, 2002 of the Laws of Tanzania as a national NGO. Rujewa Integrated Efforts to Fight Poverty (RIEFP)’s activities are focused at national and grassroots level.

Contributing to the Government’s efforts in bringing better life and improved in Education promotion, health, environment, water supply, sanitation, hygiene, and energy and research activities.

RIEFP’s Objectives. 
  • Spearhead and promote social-economic development to the youths, women, poorest elders and orphans,
  • Promote poverty reduction and sound environmental management, sanitation and hygiene.
  • Create awareness among community members and disseminate information about development issues,
  • Enable the local people learn and use participatory methodologies as better strategies to community development
  • Enable the local communities acquire knowledge, education, information and skills about themselves and the government on their fundamental human rights,
  • Mobilize resources and solicit for funds for community development activities,
  • To contribute towards the prevention of further spread of HIV/AIDS and control of malaria in the community,
  • To unleash peoples’ creativity and confidence to undertake their own initiatives those enhance their well-being.
